Senior Structural Engineer
40 hours per week
As a structural engineer at Titan, you will be responsible for independently calculating structures for complex projects. You make strength calculations, consult with engineers and other stakeholders, and advise on structural issues. Hereby you take the lead and you dare to ask critical questions.
In the role of structural engineer at Titan, you will bear full responsibility for independently calculating structures and supervising complex projects. You will prepare strength calculations for both preliminary and final designs and coordinate these with the project teams. You ensure that the designs meet the set standards and quality procedures. You coordinate, supervise and check the work of your colleagues to ensure a successful project outcome.
Work
Designing and performing detailed structural calculations based on applicable standards and customer specifications
Supervise mechanical engineers in the structural design and execution of a project
Keeping standards, codes and regulations up-to-date, and educating colleagues about them
Performing control work related to the preparation of design and production drawings
Job Requirements
HBO/HTS mechanical engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience as a structural engineer
Experience with pressure vessels and piping is a plus
Communication and coordination skills
