Plant Engineer

Your role

In this broad technical role, you will work on the design and realization of complex installations within plant environments in the process industry. You act as the technical go-to person and combine your helicopter view with substantive depth. Whether it’s working out a P&ID, modeling in 2D or 3D, or integrating a process design into a plant system – you make sure it’s right. Apply now and join our team of technology pioneers.

Work

Your focus is on the technical design and feasibility of installations within the process industry

You translate process designs into concrete system and layout designs within plants

You will create 2D and 3D drawings and models in AutoCAD, Plant 3D and occasionally Inventor

You prepare technical documentation, including P&IDs and specifications

You monitor technical standards, regulations and safety requirements

You will work closely with colleagues from different disciplines and external stakeholders

You support international projects and are willing to travel as needed

Job Requirements

Bachelor/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical field

Good command of English (oral and written)

Experience with 2D and 3D drawing work

Affinity with the process industry

You have a helicopter view and are analytical, structured and have strong communication skills

You are solution-oriented, innovative and enjoy working on multiple projects simultaneously
