Mechanical Engineer Apparatus Construction

40 hours per week

At Titan in Bolsward we are looking for a Mechanical engineer, who wants to grow together with us! As mechanical engineer you work from Bolsward on beautiful innovative projects in the equipment construction. You will use AutoCAD and Inventor among others for designing, drawing and modeling of vessels, heat exchangers and structures.

Your role

As an engineer at Titan you are responsible for the technical design and its feasibility. You have a passion for technology and enjoy thinking about the development of new solutions . You will work intensively with an enthusiastic team, and there is plenty of room for development and own initiative. You play a key role in mechanical design in innovative devices. Thereby you see your design, realized realized by your colleagues in the workshop.

Work

Responsible for technical design. Consider: Welding joints, Material science, Knowledge of relevant standards.

Preparation of the technical drawings

Collaborate with colleagues for the creation of the design

Performing occasional strength calculations

Thinking about technical solutions and improvement of existing devices

Job Requirements

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical field

Mastery of the Dutch and English languages in word and writing

Experience with 2D and 3D drawing work

You are communicatively strong, structured and accurate

You like to keep your professional content knowledge up to date
